MY CLASS BREAKDOWN: ELEMENTARY
The My Class Section of our Elementary Teacher Planner has some great resources for those who teach 1st-5th grade. Use these useful pages and resources to plan out the school year. Below is a breakdown of this My Class Add-On and the pages that are included.
CLASSROOM GOALS
This Year’s Goals has space to set personal, organizational, planning, and classroom goals for the year to help with consistency and tracking achievements. Next Year’s Goals Section offers a section for reflection of the school year and what next year's plans and goals will look like.
IMPORTANT DATES
Keep track of important dates and monthly plans with the Student Birthdays. Teachers can jot down monthly unit lessons, topics, projects and more with Year At a Glance Pages.
THE CLASSROOM
Use these pages to keep track of day-to-day aspects of the classroom. The My Class Schedule section breaks down the class schedule by terms. Use the Classroom Arrangement page to lay out where students will be sitting throughout the year.
ABOUT THE STUDENTS
Keep track of important information, progress, and parent communication for each individual in the classroom. The Parent Communication Page allows teachers to write down every time they contact a child’s parent. There is also a Behavior Log so that certain behaviors, whether good or bad, can be tracked as well.
Need more of these pages? Additional sets of 10 sheets of Parent Communication and Behavior Logs can be added to a planner.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
These pages are great resources when learning calls for people and places outside of the classroom. Each Preschool + Kindergarten My Class section has volunteer lists, substitute information, and field trips & special events pages.
EXPENSES & RESOURCES
The library and internet can provide amazing resources for lessons. Keep track of all classroom resources that are used throughout the year. Purchasing supplies and other things for the classroom is important to record too. The My Class section includes a space for teachers to record what was purchased, for how much, and if the school reimburses the purchase.
ADDITIONAL PAGES
These pages are great for writing down the development of each child and planning out future projects and ideas for the classroom.
