Vertical VS Horizontal Planner Layouts
Choosing a layout that works with they way you plan & think is truly important. We want to make sure that you are using your planner in the best way. At the end of the day, everyone has different needs, which means we all have a different planner layout that works best for us.
At Plum Paper, we offer a large variety of layout options. Each of our lives and each of our brains are so unique from one another. We want to provide as many different layouts as we can for the many different needs of our customers.
Here is a more in depth description of the difference between vertical and horizontal planning that may help you decide which layout is best for you!

VERTICAL LAYOUTS
Vertical Planning is commonly used for "list people". It is a quick and easy way to jot down your To-Dos without having to put much detail into it. Briefly write down appointments, to-dos, emails, etc. This format makes it easy to quickly glance at your day and know exactly what you have already done and what is still ahead. At Plum Paper, we give you 5 different Vertical Layouts to choose from.
The layout shown above is our Vertical Priorities Layout. We love this layout because it allows you to compartmentalize your day into separate sections, while still giving you space for that ongoing list each day!

HORIZONTAL LAYOUTS
Horizontal Planning is catered towards people who prefer to write things out in more detail or if write tasks that are longer than just bullet points. This type of layout is also great for someone who likes to incorporate journaling into their planner. Keep track of your daily events, write down your thoughts of the day, and look back at them later on! It's a great way to use your planner to keep track day to day and reflect on memories throughout the year.
The layout shown above is our Horizontal Priorities Layout. We love this layout because it gives you a space each day for some quick To-Dos, a space to prioritize what is important, and then open space for all the rest! We offer a variety of horizontal layouts, so go check them out to see what may work best for you!
