Plum Paper’s founder, Kristina Kardous, envisioned a world where organizational tools weren’t just practical but also deeply personal. “As an artist, organization has never come naturally to me,” she recalls. “I wanted a planner that not only fit my scattered brain but also reflected who I was.”

Initially crafting personalized stationery, she realized the power of customization: products that felt truly intended for their owner. This vision expanded into planners, where she saw an opportunity to transform a traditionally one-size-fits-all product into something as unique as the person using it.

The name Plum Paper holds a special story. During a season of transition and solitude, Kristina drew inspiration from a blooming plum-colored tree outside her window. “Plum means something superior or very desirable,” she explains. “It was the perfect description for the paper products I wanted to create: superior in quality and beautifully desirable.”

Plum Paper’s first “office” was a spare bedroom in a small apartment, with operations expanding to garages and, eventually, warehouses. Each move marked a step forward in the company’s growth. One of the most pivotal moments came with the purchase of a full-scale printing press, a machine that symbolized the company’s evolution. “When we got our first true printing press, I knew Plum Paper was going to be something amazing,” Kristina shares.

From specialized layouts designed for teachers, students, moms, and professionals to a vast array of cover designs, every product is intended to help you make life more manageable on your own terms.
